REPPIN’ Atlanta’s Underground Hip Hop Scene
Crafts & Crates is a local Atlanta event that merges craft beer and hip-hop culture and was formed by members of the legendary Atlanta underground rap groups Binkis Recs and Psyche Origami. We wanted to cultivate a fun atmosphere for all ages that celebrate and showcases Atlanta’s hip-hop community.

The event takes place at the world-renowned Halfway Crooks Biergarten which is in the historic neighborhood of Summerhill. The beautiful outdoor space at Halfway Crooks is the perfect setting to enjoy some of the best craft beer and cocktails ATL has to offer, along with great food and amazing vibes while hearing selections from the hottest DJs in the city and worldwide.
Pop-Up Vinyl shop
At each event we also feature a popup vinyl shop from the likes of JB’s Record Lounge, Gene Brown and more, that offers a curated selection of vinyl records for music enthusiast to browse and purchase. Come join us on the third Saturday of the month for a unique cultural experience as we rotate through the best selection of dope hip-hop, r&b, and soul classics!

Mike Moore of Binkis Recs is an event promoter and creative curator who’s been heavily involved in Atlanta’s hip hop community since the mid 90’s.

PEPPERMINT GATTY
DJ Peppermint Gatty is a vinyl DJ known for soulful sets blending classic R&B and Hip-Hop from the ’70s to early 2000s. She brings nostalgic vibes and community energy to every event.

DJ Mafioso of Binkis Recs is an Atlanta turntablist and gear tech known for blending Latin and hip-hop sounds. He’s also the trusted “DJ’s Doctor,” repairing and maintaining equipment for DJs across the city.
